Our company database has a field that uses an asterik (*) to indicate obsolete items. When I try to run a formula to exclude those obsolete items, Crystal is treating the asterik as a wild card, and of course not showing any records. Here's the formula: Itm.age <> "*"

Is there some way to have it read as a text object rather than an wild card? TIA, Bob
