Hi there-

I am designing a formula that is returning a value from an array to use in the report.

The array is as follows

Date                      From_Code    To_Code        Exch_Rate
10/26/2009           EUR                     USD           1.49
10/26/2009          USD                     EUR            0.67
10/26/2009          CAN                     USD           0.8
10/26/2009          USD                      CAN          1.25
11/15/2009           EUR                     USD           1.45
11/15/2009           USD                     EUR           0.69
11/15/2009          CAN                     USD           0.833
11/15/2009          USD                      CAN          1.20

This array is populated on a regular basis with new exchange rates. I would like the formula to return the latest exchange USD to CAN exchange rate. I have tried using combinations of if/maximum formulas w/o success. I would really appreciate your advice on this.

Thanks,
luc

Hi Luc,

What kind of Array formula are you using? Crystal Arrays can only be one dimensional, so how are you populating?

So far I have used combinations of IF and Maximum functions without the result that I was expecting. I haven't tried array functions. I am not sure they would work for me. I am open to any idea/suggestion.
