Dear All,
 
I want to automatically refresh the reports after 'X' amount of time. (say 5 mins.)
As of i know there is no direct method to do this.
how can i achieve this?
 
i am using crystal report XI

The only thing that comes to mind is to have an application call the report and then every 5 minutes call it again.

I tried creating trigger that will update whenever a new call is logged.

but i cannot call it from reports.
any idea?

CR reads the database when requested, it does not monitor the database. The only way that I can see is to have some outside force call the report.

if you don't have an application...just a user viewing the report via Crystal Viewer, there isn't one that I am aware of.  I you have an application of some sort calling the report, you could modify that periodically call the report.
