Hello,
Im having a hard time getting my report to look exactly how I need it.
I have the details section of my report formated with 3 columns and I want to place a line dividing every column so they look like this:

If I insert a line object to the right or left of the section I get 1 'extra' line which im trying to avoid ( I dont want to display  "| record | record | record" or "record | record | record |")

Im using VS 2005. I'll appreciate any help on this. Thank you in advance.

don't think you can do it.  Since you are formatting a column, it is going to take the picture of 1 column and repeat it, and there are no access points to suppress a line conditionally or actually modify it in any way dynamically that I know of.

Sorry I couldn't give better news.

Oh well. I read somewhere while googling this that someone solved it using a text object with a conditional supress border to simulate the dividing line. I tought this may be a common trick, I guess not.

Thanks anyway.

Me again.
I have a diferent problem with the lines dividing the columns. Im using a line object from the top to the bottom of the details section to form the whole line. The problem is that if a column has a diferent amount of records his line will be of a diferent height. For example:

is there a way to have 3 lines of the same height no mater what? (I have groups and the details section has only 1 item populating the columns)
