Hi,

I'd like to ask the forum for some advice on how to best approach a report I'd like to generate.

The data structure of the table is as follows

a Customer Marketing table has a column of potential marketing options, another column holds the customers Marketings choice and then 2 other columns hold additional information against that marketing choice.

I would like to create a report that shows a high level view of the customers marketings choice against the corresponding marketing option but then allow the user to click on that line to then drill down to display the corresponding additional information.

I've tried creating a cross tab report but as i'm grouping on the first column, i can't seem to get the drill down working to expose the additional information fields.

I've also tried using the subreport functionality but again, I cannot get the subreport to only display the additional information without showing it on the first report.

My next option would be the 'Mock Cross-tab' report which I've read about but haven't yet attempted.

Am I doing this wrong or have I used the wrong approach ?

Any help would be gratefully received.
