I have a customer loan table that was created for two different time periods. The majority of the customers are in both tables (named Period1 & Period2). There are some customers in Period1 that are not in the Period2 and vice versa. I would like to produce a variance report that will list all the customers and show their loan balance for each of the periods. I am able to produce a report that contains all the customers from Period1 with or without a match in Period2 using a Left Outer Join. What I am unable to include, in the same report, are those customers in Period2 that not in Period 1 (new customers). Can someone help me out?
