Hi,

I have designed a report in .NET2005. The report is of 2-3 pages. The problem is when the report is exported into word, there sometimes blank space between two lines or tables.
Generally when we want to remove the space in word, either we press "Backspace" or "Delete" keys and space disappears. But when a crystal report is exported into WORD these two keys don't work at all. Is there any special command while designing, by which we can activate these 2 keys in the word file exported fro crystal report.
Cheers,
Kaushik

You need to export to Word 97-2003 - Editable instead of just to Word 97-2003.

Hi Dell,

Thanks for the reply.

The export is happening in Word 97-2003. The problem is frames are getting created as a result if a line needs to be moved up it has to be selected and moved up, instead of the "Backspace" or "Delete" button.

This process becomes really cumbersome for people using word. Please suggest

Regards,
Kaushik

Unfortunately, we have no control over export formats other than what is provided in the dialogs Crystal provides when you export reports.  This is one of the "Features" of Crystal. Angry

Have you tried exporting to RTF instead of to Word?
