Hi friends,

I am new to CR.
Currently i wanted to perform one task in which i need to design reports in CR.
But i am confused about how to use datasource.
Data may be in a java bean or a hashmap in calculation module.
Which may need to be passed to other modules also.

If I wanted to use this data and display a report.
How to approach it ?
Have any used a java object as a datasource ? can we use it ?

what can be a approch to generate report ?
writing to xml and then display is one option but i donno if it cna be feasible since there can be more than 10k records.

and calculation are complex so we dont want to use stored procedures...data will be present in java ...

i found this post on internet where we can use a java class as a datasource.

can ne1 help me here ?

thnx in advance
