	I made a group and wanted to filter out groups that contain a particular record So I wrote {field} <> "name I don't want" as a group selection formula and for some reason it no longer displayed any groups that contained a record with that name. How does that work?

	You would probably need to put that as a record selection formula. I don't ever really use the group selection for similar reasons as you; I don't know what it does and when I do use it, it doesn't do what I expect it to do.
