I am trying to create a function in Crystal using the Random Seed function in Crystal Reports 8.0. The random number is generating correctly, but using the same function across reports, does not yield the same random number for the same data in the next report, to have the same key.
Please let me know if someone has used this function before and how to make it work across reports.

reading CR help, the only way to get the same number is basically to use a seed of 0, which returns the last random number generated. All other seeds select a new random number.
