Hello all,

I am unfamiliar with CR and am trying to pick up for an employee who recently left the company.  I have an existing report and all I want to do is have it pull data from another database.  The current report is set to pull data from SQLserver1, DB1, I want to run the report on SQLserver1, DB2

Can anyone provide me directions? (keeping in mind I am new to CR).

I am using CR2008

Thanks!!

go to database menu
set datasource location
in the upper section highlight the source (likely an ODBC file)
in the lower section find your new source (likely a differetn ODBC file)
select Update

Thanks DBlank! I thought that was the way to do it.  In fact i had tried that several times before posting.  It turns out that my new ODBC was set up incorrectly.  I am trying to create a new ODBC connection to a SQL server, but all I see in my list of data sourcesunder ODBC is dBASE files, Excel Files, and MS Access Databse.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
