Hi,

I have created a subreport that should show the amount of viewers per event/region/city. I want it to show the top visited events first, then the regions (I don't care about the sorting here) but the citys within the regions should also be shown sorted.
I have created the three groups and added the sort field in the record sort expert. But it seems like the sorting only works on the first level (the top visited events are displayed first), but it doesn't work anymore on the next two levels.
Any idea how to get this sorting to work on all levels?

Thanks!

if all 3 levels are interdependent I don't believe it will work as desired...

Grouping is hierarchical, so group 1 will tend to dominate.  As described you will get the top event, and you could then see the top regions associated with that event and the top cities for the top region.

if you want to see the top events, then the top regions irrespective of the event, then I would think that you are looking at a subreport, otherwise your grouping will always be tied to the top events
