    Posted: 23 Dec 2011 at 1:29am
Hi,

I have a dynamic subreport inside my main report, the subreport has a report header. The problem is I only want to display this header when the user clicks on the subreport from the main report. IE I don't want the subreport header to be displayed in the main report.

I'm not really sure how to tackle this as adding a drilldowngrouplevel suppression formula to the subreport header section doesn't have any affect as clicking on the subreport resets drilldowngrouplevel to 0 (which I guess kinda makes sense but is also irritating).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards,
Ryan.

Assuming that you have inserted the subreport in GroupFooter #1 - -
Remove whatever you have in the sub-report header and place it in a detail line, for example detail c.  Then set a conditional suppress on detail c for drilldowngrouplevel <> 1.
