Is there a way to indent within a text box and still have blank lines suppressed?

I am creating a report that will generate a letter in the following format.

Dear Sir/Madam,

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

         Contact
         Addr 1
         Addr 2
         Addr 3
         City, State Zip

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

I have created a text box to contain the verbage and have dropped in the contact name and address fields.  In the format editor for the text box I have checked Suppress Embedded Field Blank Lines because all 3 address lines may not be populated.

If I tab or space over within the text box the blank lines are not suppressed.  If I keep everything left justified they are.  Is there a way to indent within the text box and have blank lines suppressed?

Why not make 3 text boxes. Place each on it's own section. All set to grow. You can then make you contact text box on section B indented but the text inside the box would not be indented.
//Section a text box left justified
Dear Sir/Madam,

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
//Section B text box indented
         Contact
         Addr 1
         Addr 2
         Addr 3
         City, State Zip
//Section C text box left justified
