I have two views that i use to generate a report using the report wizard or blank report.

When i pull in the course data, eg name, surname, empl_id, course title and date etc from one view, it displays correctly as it should.

However when i pull in the booking course data, with the same fields, it duplicates the data from the first view.

What do i do wrong as i need to show both the course completion view and the course registration view grouped by person on a single page?

I tried it both ways, by joining using the unique user_id, and then clearing the links. I want to show by company, person name, last name, position what classroom courses they attended (completed) and what classroom courses they are registered for and still need to attend.

I think you need to join the tables or you will get a cartesion result.
if each table has one row  per 'person' then you shold not ahve duplicates. If either table has more than one row per person you will get 'duplicate' rows.
