What are the limits to parameters?

I created a parameter to select cities, my database contains around 13,000 cities.  Shocked

Crystal responds by saying the "Query is too complex". Angry

I can probably do with out most of the cities but would still need around 2000 for the parameter to be of any use.

I don't think this has anything to do with the number of records being returned. Have you run the query independently on your database to see if it works or to see it's response time? I would see if you can simplify the query.

Also, I wonder if you're using MS Access as your database? This is an Access error.

To change the limit, you need to edit the registry.  See:KBase Article ID:c2017238
