What type of connection are you using? I'm not sure that Crystal will connect using OLEDb because of the hyphen. So, I would try creating an ODBC connection that takes care of specifying the database connection and use that in your report.

Thanks for your reply
The problem is solved by just clicking the following 2 options while creating the Data source ODBC which i use to connect to the database from Crystal Report .
Here are the 2 options :-
Use ANSI quoted Identifiers
Use ANSI Nulls , paddings and warnings
Once i ticked these 2 options , i successfully connected to the database from Crystal Report.
