Topic: Indenting a record that uses more than one line Posted: 10 Sep 2012 at 2:02pm
I have a block of records in a subreport, some of which take up more than one line, eg:
This is the first demo record.
This is the second demo record, and
flows through to the next line.
This is the third demo record.
Now, this report has to look pretty damn spiffy, but the above looks pretty bad. Now, I know that the following can be done:
This is the first demo record.
This is the second demo record, and
flows through to the next line.
This is the third demo record.
Which also looks kind of dodgy. What I would like to be able to do is the opposite of that, ie:
This is the first demo record.
This is the second demo record, and
flows through to the next line.
This is the third demo record.
... which makes it unambiguously clear that the third line belongs to the second record, which is common practice in word processing, and looks great! Can this be done in the world of Crystal Reports?

A world of unexamined lives is a waste of a world!
