Hello All,
I am trying to sum each value of group summary.I need to calculate Total side. I have 2 groups, gp1 company, gp2 Date. Please suggest any idea.

you just re-sum the same value at report footer level

If I just simply re-sum those values from GF2 on report footer then I will get total sum but i wanted to get sum by each Date regardless of company.

Create a running total for each date. (If your dates are constant for each group)

 

 

Right click on running totals and create new..dt1;

 

--Place the amount field to summarize – and select Summary type—Sum

 

--Evaluate : choose Formula and write a formula like : {datefield} = cdate(year,month,day)

 

--Rest  -- select Never

 

Now place this formula in your report footer

Sorry, lost track on this. you can go the route Sastry suggested but a different solution that is more dynamic would be to insert a crosstab in the report header or footer, set the row to use the date field grouping on day and then summarize the dollar amount.
