Hello,
is there any way to have the group heading be showing on top of each page?

I created a crystal report with 3 subreports. Each subreport have their own headings. So, if a sub-report has more than one page, i want the headings to be shown on top of each page. but the subreports does not seem to have a page header. Only report headers, which does not show up on top of each page of the subreport.

Hi,

Did you check Repeat Group Header On Each Page Option in Group expert > Options tab.

Even though if you are report not showing Group header on every page then you need to create Fake group header in the sub report.
(google it for creating Fake group  headers )

More specifically (based on praveeng's response), here's what you do:

1.  In the subreport, group on something that only occurs once per subreport.  I usually use one or more of the fields used to link the report.
2.  In the group, turn on "Repeat Group Header on Each Page" in the Group Options.

This will provide you with a simulated page header that is specific to the subreport.  Unfortunately, there is no way to do the same sort of thing for page footers in subreports.  Cry

Thanks...I was able to get it on each page by using "Repeat Group Header". I did not know that option existed. Thank you both for your insight.
