    Posted: 17 Jan 2008 at 1:15pm
I inserted a report title special field in the header section.  and gave it a value.  When you pass the mouse over the title box, the title text string appears.  When I print the report, the title is not displayed.

I also added a text object to the header section.  I set a text value to the text object.  I does display on the report, but on the report form, all the letters for the string are all jumbled together so it cannot be read.

I placed another text object in the header section which has a formula attached to it
cStr({?StartDate}, "dd/MM/yyyy") & ' - ' & cstr({?End Date}, "dd/MM/YYYY")
the text object does not display on the report

what fundamental am I missing?

I am using visual studio 2005.

thanks for any help
Thanks.
