	I created a report that compares two group total(Ex. 2012 & 2013), when I use the command "previous" its giving me an error "No Previous Value" cause basically there is no data for 2012, is there a work around on this?

	previous is in reference to the prior row of data. You will need to explain your data set and what you are trying to accomplish to get any more help on a possible solution

	I grouped my data into quarters then comparing it with previous years(same quarter) but the is there is no data for the previous years.

	Grouping does not matter with a crystal previous() function other than it impacts your sorting. What do you mean 'comparing it'? That is pretty vague...

	You would need to first put in an IsNull condition. For example, If PreviousIsNull() then 9999 else .... Dianne
