I have a report that goes up against an Oracle database. My customer is now implementing SQL Server and has the same database setup as Oracle for reporting. The reports are launched by a custom vb.NET application. How can we make the same report go up against whichever database the user logs onto? Or do we have to go into the our standalone report designer and build a new report for SQL Server?

I do not do reports in vb.Net.  But my gut feeling is that you will need two separate reports.
