Hi all,
I am looking at a some SAP cube based reports. They are currently accessed using BEx Analyzer. and I have glanced at one of these. The reports are present in Excel spreadsheets put there is an additional toolbar which enables you to refresh the data etc.
There are some key cells in the excel sheet which on right click enable you to do a lot of drill down. So after the report is generated, the user is equipped with the functionality of drill up/down. Everytime the user does some of this, the report is refreshed by contacting the back end.

Can we replicate such functionality in any of the BO reporting products.
Crystal, WebI??

The challenge is that "SAP cube" is an OLAP cube. 
 
The BusinessObjects Voyager product which integrates with the BO Enterprise framework will read from SAP BW 3.5 and BI 7 cubes.  However, AFAIK, this doesn't connect into Crystal or WebI.
 
you'll see that there is an integration plug-in available that will allow you to build a universe based on SAP cubes.  This will then allow you to use that data in either Crystal or WebI reports.  NOTE:  Currently you MUST have the BO Enterprise software in order to be able to build and use universes.

The information in the cubes is being imported to the universes. I am looking to provide the functionality that exists in the current reports in a similar fashion in the BO reports. I am trying to research what would be a good product from the BO suite for this situation.
 
The current reports are such that they are run and populated with data. After that the user is provided with a functionality to drill down by clicking on a specific key field and further on. 
 
Lets say if I developed a crystal report and I run it at the month end, after obtaining the report, is there a chance that I can click on some field to drill down..
OR is WebI a good option to achieve this..

A universe DOES NOT contain data!  It provides the information needed to build the SQL to get the data.
 
You can do this with either WebI or Crystal.  I haven't done Drill-Down in Crystal, but I know with WebI you can either have the drill-down information loaded into the report at run time or you can have it re-query and load the data when the user drills-down.  In order to get this to work, you have to set up a "Heirarchy" in the universe that indicates the order of fields available for drill-down.
