Looking for the right forum here...

I've created new, and modified existing reports and re-posted them. Recently a few have required logins for the first time.

New reports have not required this, and those that did ran without for hours, days, then suddenly required logins. Sometimes a Windows user / password will do. Sometimes rejected.

This is strange. I did not request or set any of this. We don't want logins here. Could it be anything to do with changes to reports (only conditions - I'm looking at data security, and there simply is none). Has the Report Server gone nuts? Sorry Dave

Any ideas?

Thanks

The report server has not gone nuts.  What database are you using?  Are you consistent on how you setup the security for each report?

in the CMC navigate to your published report.
Click the process tab
Click on database
 on the bottom check
    When viewing report:
Use same database logon as when report is run

Check the account the Job server runs under.  This may be an issue if you are using integrated security.  Does the account's password expire?

Do you have the same client software  ODBC OLEDB on the Crystal server as you have on the workstation on which you create the reports.  ODBC DNS the same?
