Hello,

I'm getting the famous "failed to open a rowset" followed by "incorrect syntax" while using a series of related reports located on my company's network. The strange thing is that a co-worker can run them fine. I've compared our permissions on the DB server, which look identical (we're both sysadmins) and can find nothing out of whack. This started happening after a DB server change about 2 months ago, but we've come up blank as far as a solution.

Since he can run the report fine, it doesn't seem like an issue with the report itself. Has anyone dealt with this fun problem before?

Crystal version 9.2.3.970

Thank you!

Sounds like a out of date ODBC driver.  Other than that, it could be that Crystal Reports itself is corrupted or there is some conflict with some other software.
