Crystal Reports formula to compare consecutive entries

   I'm trying to work out if there is a formula that can be written to display text should there be 3 consecutive results in 'columnA' (for example) that are greater than a certain value. 

Or if the values were plotted on a line graph is there any kind of formatting or formula to highlight if there are 3 consecutive points above a certain level?

Any help greatly appreciated.
