Hello everyone,

I recently just started working with crystal reports (today) since I am currently developing a database to process juveniles. I have worked with reports in microsoft access so this doesnt seem too new to me; however, I am experiencing a very weird problem. To start off I am just creating a report (using the wizard) to list all the names currently in the database. The weird thing that happens is when I preview the report, under my field names (last name, middle name, first name) I get colors instead... Colors like "Blue, Fuchsia, gray). Under my middle name column I get the days of the week. Under my first name I get things that say "Standard, drill down, form letter, subreport mail label. And under my Age field I get random numbers that are in the thousands. I have no idea where this info is coming from. Any tips would be enlightening. Thank you very much for your time!

If you are previewing the report in Visual Studio, this is what you get.  You'll have to actually run your application to get the real data.
