Hi All,

We have a customer who wants to access some customised reports I created for them, however:

They are on managed services( the SQL server database), residing at an IP address.

Their access to the application via an url and they uses hosts name from their end which requires https I believe.

I am as reprot writer who has no problem to connect to the server while  creating these reports ( using OLEDB ADO connection).

The reports are basically launched from app client /report module via Crystal Report Viewer. (the reports can be run for other customers who are not on this kind of connection model).
Is it pssible that without VPN connection to the app, they will totally not able to use customised reports because it requires the connection to sql server?

Is there any other way?

ecasue they have paid for the reports.
Could any one advise upon the above issue, thanks in advnace
