    Posted: 22 Jul 2012 at 11:50pm
Hello readers. I am caught in a problem where I am showing my chart of accounts in the hierarchy (using group hierarchy option in the balance sheet report.
e.g.
Asset
Current Asset
Cash--------------------------------100
A/r---------------------------------200
Stock/Inventory----------------------20
Total For Current Asset-------------320
Liability
Current Liability
A/P----------------------------------50
Non Current Liability

Up in the sample the the value for Stock/Inventory is determined by another query which is the column in the main query. So i have to add them up conditionally to make the formula for Balance Sheet
Asset-Liabilities=Capital to show in the group footer for each hierarchy.
Problem is that i can not get this done with its own formula. I've googled about it and got two functions related to hierarchy but have not understood to write my formula with them.
plus that is an article i have found which limits to 5 hierachy level which i don't want to use because my hierarchy limit is not limited. Guide me with formula. Your help will greatly be appreciated.
