please help. I'm by no means an expert Crystal Report programmer. I'm working with a report that was built for me, and I'm redesigning it. I'm editing an invoice. The sub-report is displaying the individual weights of a product. The weights themselves are being displayed in the only detail section of the sub report.

The detail section has several of the weight data fields in it, however, and this is where my problem is...Only one of the weight data fields are available for me to manipulate. The rest of the data fields are surrounded by this light blue background, which make me think that there is something that is not allowing me to touch these fields.

When I change the font and font size on the one filed that I can manipulate, the other fields font and size change as well. I'd like to be able to manipulate the entire Detail. At the very least, I'd like to be able to reduce the space between the other data fields. They look too far apart when I print the report.

That's really all the info I have at this time.

Any input is welcome. Thank you in advance.

It sounds like you have multiple fields selected. I do not know of a way to group fields permanently (in v11 or below).
I think you can just click anywhere on the canvas to deleselct all and then work each one seperately.
