Topic: Different Chart in Designer and Previewer Posted: 18 Dec 2007 at 7:48am
I just went through tutorial 12-1 in the book and I'm having some problems viewing the chart I created. Initially, the graph wouldn't change when I changed the data values, but then, when I previewed the report, the correct data appeared. Now the previewer is showing the right data and the designer is showing the wrong data. Any ideas?

The designer is just using it as a place holder for the chart. Accuracy isn't important (or guaranteed). As long as the report preview is working then that is what should be getting updated when the report data refreshes.
