Hi All,
 
I am facing an issue while exporting data into excel.
 
I am using formula fiels with borders and whenever i tried to export into the spread sheet, I am always getting a blank line between detail records.
 
If i remove the border and export, it is working properly.
 
Is there any option to export data into Spread sheet with borders and with out blank lines between detail records?

Not that I know of...if you don't see the option in the export screen, it probably isn't there.

as an work around, you could have a parameter for the report to print borders, and then you could conditionally suppress the borders based on the parameter.

I am able to print the border in the spread sheet with out empty lines between two details lines.
 
While trying out your suggesstion, I have removed the Top border for all Data fields and it is working fine.
