I recently changed a Report from using one stored procedure to another. The fields it produced did not change but the underlining logic did. I found I have to rewrite the report because the fields I put on the report were no longer valid.

I was wondering if there was some easier way to do this so I can just change the name of the stored procedure and leave the report alone.

Thanks.

What version of Crystal are you using? How did you do the change in the report - in other words, did you use "Set Location" from the Database menu?

As far as the version is concerned it appears to be 13.0.

I went through the options under Crystal Reports - Database and changed as many as I could.
