Confused

I have a main report with two sub reports. All have parameters (ie Month/Year). I need these parameters separate for each report and they are but somehow unknowingly it combined the parameter for the year for the two sub reports. I need to reflect data from different years.

How do I break this?

Thank you all in advance.

is that it combined it, or that you specified the value in the links to the subreports?

If you are using the parameter from the main report to link to the subreports, then the values will all be the same. if you are using a table.field as the link, I would check that the value in the subreport matches the value in the main report...just to make sure the correcgt value is being passed.

There are no links established between any reports. It is something that automaticly generated.

perhaps you should add some. How is the subreport supposed to know what you want? How does the subreport filter the data that it is retrieving from the database?

The two sub reports are basically identical. They each have a set of 3 parameters (Jurisdiction, Month, Year) I run the reports side by side in group footer on the main report to evaluate different time frames.

What exactly is the select criteria in the subreports?
If none what is the WHERE clause for the source of each?

I found there was a stored procedure that I did not know about that would only let the report run one year at a time.
