Hi

I am new to Crystal reports design. I have recently installed the crystal reports 2008 in my machine. I have the report files (*.rpt). When I am trying to connect to DB which is showing in "My Connections", I am getting the error. When I click on "Create New Connection", I don't understand which one to opt for.

Regards,
Balu

I am getting the error as below.

"Failed to load database information.
Details: The database connector 'crdb_oracle.dll' could not be loaded.
The correct version of the database client for this database type might not be installed."

If you are trying to to connect to Oracle.  You will need the correct Oracle client software installed and configured.  I always have to have one our Oracel DBA's do it for me.

Install Oracle client in the local machine you are using and connect using Oracle server data connectivity. There are several other options also like OBDC, ADO etc. But ODBC also requires oracle driver for the connectivity.
