Hello, would anyone happen to know what would cause Crystal to stop working? I am trying to preview a report and the circle keeps spinning around and it's stuck. It never comes up. I thought it may be something to do with the new report I just wrote, but I tried some other reports that I know work, and the same thing happened.

Are all the reports based on one data source?  If so, verify that there are no issues with the data source (verify database is a good first step).  After that, it is possible that Crystal Reports itself is corrupt.  Of course there could be other possibilities (i.e, firewalls, virus checker, etc.).

How big is the Query you are trying to run; have you passed as much to the source as possible by using SQL Expressions etc?

Happened to me once. I didn't have the tables linked properly.

Database got real slow. We had to re-index everything.
