I don't understand why in your formula you listed DateDiff() three
times. Nonetheless, you need to check for null prior to doing the
calculation.
If IsNull({CallLog.ClosedDate}) Then DateDiff("d", d1, CurrentDate) Else DateDiff("d", d1, d2);

that is what the last user gave me to use-it works when there is a value there however, it does not work if the field has no date in it. I'll try your date diff formula now.
