I'm trying to find out if the 2008 version of CR can be used to create and maintain reports for software that was designed to work with CR ver. 9. Specifically, Syteline version 7.4.
I asked this question of the sales people and got the following reply from SAP:
"Crystal Reports spanning across different versions are not compatible between versions."
Anyone have a clue what exactly this means?
It sounds like they are saying their software is not compatible from one version to the next, but that doesn't make sense.
