Confused

I have a crystal report that  groups some data fields   by Buildings, Jobs and Employees which are all passed in each record from a stored procedure. I have experimented with changing the conditionfield in the group but that means I still have a 3 tier hierarchy in my grouping, great if I am always sorting by all 3 fields but sometimes I might just want to sort emplyees by job or employees by building. I would like to do this with 1 report. Currently I am still on Crystal Reports 9. If a later version of Crystal provides better control over groups I could consider an upgrade but it would mean upgrading 100s of users some are still on Novell networks which is always a nightmare to upgrade.

Any suggestions?
