I recently upgraded to Crystal Reports 2008.  I often use dynamic parameters which display a list of values from the DB.  Depending on the source there are hundreds and sometimes thousands of possible values retrieved.  In  the new version of CR 2008, the values are broken up into subsets of ~200 values where the user must select from a drop down box to get to select from the values of each subset.  It is not intuitivate at all for the end user to have to select from this box first (and there is no way for them to know which subset contains the particular value they may want to select).  There is a new filter box as well, which helps somewhat, but this still requires extra steps by the end users and again is not that intuitive.  CR XI did not operate this way and was much more straight forward.  Not sure what BO was thinking when they designed this "feature" but I'm hoping someone out there has found a way to change the functionality of the dynamic parameter to revert back to where it would just list all the parameters in one list like in prior versions.  Anybody found a solution to this?  Thanks.
