Hi all,
 
I have a following formula field in my report. I want to summarize that formula field in the currency group. I have tried to use the crystal report summarize functionality. But the formula field is no more available in that summarize list box.
 
The formula is,
 
finalbalance:
shared numberVar bal;
 
Please help me for this issue.

I suspect that the answer given for http://www.crystalreportsbook.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=7772 will be close.  It should explain what you need to do.  CR does not summarize formulas well, as it can't determine the shared variable until run time.
