Hi,
I would like the background colour to alternate upon group change. So not alternating detail rows, but alternating groups. Group 1 = white, group 2 = black, group 3 = white, etc.
Group header and group footer are suppressed. Group name is in the details section. A group has 1 or more detail rows.

You need a manual running total that increments by one each time the group changes. Then divided the running total by 2 to determine if it is an even number or not. Put the running total calculation in the group header (even though it is suppressed it will still be calculated).
