Hi.

I have a little problem with my connection between CR XI and the server...

I'm just doing the ODBC and all is working

But when I go to CR and try to make a new report the ODBC connection only display a number of tables from A to M... but my tables finish on SY..

I have all access on SQL in fact I have installed the enterprise manager and query analyzer on my local pc... and I see all the tables...

Can you help me?

Hi cavsix

What the database server you use and is your odbc driver updated till last version ??

based on my experience (i use CR XI, Mysql5, mysql odbc5), it is also related to the option you have made in your connection (dsn).

For example, when i choose to display tables and views (option inside data explorer box), the DSN will show the "Add Command" menu and the list of all tables and views. But when i choose to display tables, views and stored procedures, the DSN will only show the "Add Command" menu and the list of all stored procedures. It doesn't show the list of table/view anymore
Thanks And Regards

Hi, I sure it's a bit late for the original poster, but if anyone else stumbles on this thread I worked out how to do this.

If you right click on your data source and select Options

you can add a table filter and restrict the list of tables being displayed by entering a string in the
"Table Names Like" field.

There are also options here to display/not display Tables, Views and Stored Procedures etc.

I have the same exact problem. This just started this morning. Both users of Crystal can only see to table M. Very Strange.
