Hi All,

I find it hard to format the report inside .net environment? is there any tools? or its just limited and better use the stand alone edition? is there way to have table in the report besides using cross-tab? what is the best way to corporate with a report which is a print out of a web-application which consists multiple sections and link to multiple tables in the same database? thank you.

mamata.

Yes, the .NET IDE is the only way to create reports with Visual Studio. The CR stand-alone application is better at creating reports and you can use that if it is more convenient for you.

Re the cross-tab, I'm not sure what you mean by having a table in the report.

To pirnt out a report with multiple sections, just CR in ASP.NET.
