i just re-installed crystal reports 9 on a new windows 7 64bit machine.
During the installation i included the ADO.NET datasource however when i open the program i cannot see that as an available datasource.

Also when i  "verify database" on an xml datasource i get:
Failed to load database information
Details: The database DLL 'crdb_adoplus.dll' could not be loaded.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks
rick

Crystal Reports 9 was never designed to run on 64-bit Windows.  You might want to try running it in Compatibility Mode to see if that will help resolve your problem.  If it doesn't there's not much you can do other that upgrading Crystal or getting a 32-bit machine to run it on.

Also, note that you MUST have the 32-bit database drivers installed in order for Crystal to connect to any database - it will NOT connect using 64-bit drivers.  This may explain why you're not able to see ADO.NET as a data source.
