I think youa re still just placing the original formula on the header.
You have to sum the formula field (once per formula) at the group level.
select the formula field
click on insert summary (sigma sign)
the field to sumamrize should already be your fomrual field
type should be set to sum
summary location select the group.
OK
it will insert a summary field in the group footer.
repeat per formula field
now you should have one summary as "0" or ">0" for each thing you are checking
