Hi,

I have a number of reports connected to a large database and was wondering if there is a setting within CR that allows you to work almost offline.  Everytime I edit the report and preview the results it takes (what feels like ages) some time to refresh the data and repaginate - there are 9912 pages.

Is there anyway that I can work with the current data make the changes that I want and then refresh the data?

Many thanks in advance,
Peter

PS - I am using CR XI Developer Release 2.

I feel your pain, I have run into the same issue from time to time.  It would be better to work with your database team to provide you with a either a stored procedure or a view that supplies a sub-set of the data (for testing purposes), then when the report design is finished then you could connect to another view or stored procedure that has all the data.
