using visual studio

report uses charts.  works fine on development machine

when I move the web app to a test machine which does NOT contain visual studio, the chart report does not work

note: other reports which only display data records work fine.

the space where the charts should be displayed contain the following two lines

CrystalReportViewer - CrystalReportViewer1

Error: Fail to render the page.

any help would be appreciated

Thanks.

I am having this same problem.

I wrote an app in Visual Studio, displaying Crystal Reports. Everything works fine in development, but when I try to run the app live on Windows Server 2008 I get the same error you get. However, none of my data shows up, just a huge yellow page with the Error:Fail to render page message. The reports do have data because i can export it to rtf files and the data is there!!!

Any help would be appreciated.

we are generally running the web app under IIS6, where the charts work fine.  The error occurred when testing under IIS7.    Have not as yet found a resolution to this problem.  If you do, please post.

Thanks
